The native of Elk River, Minnesota has six career Top-10 finishes at the track in the Hoosier state, including four in a row.

Jac Haudenschild has 10 Top-10 finishes in his career at Tri-State Speedway. The native of Wooster, Ohio is currently fifth in championship points on the strength of 17 Top-10 finishes. He has finished in the Top-Five nine times this year as he closes in on his first A-Feature win of the campaign.

Kerry Madsen, the reigning Kevin Gobrecht Rookie of the Year made his first start at Tri-State Speedway last season. The native of St. Mary’s, NSW, Australia is seventh in points this season and has racked up 15 Top-10 finishes. He led a number of laps on Sunday night at Cedar Lake Speedway en route to a fourth-place finish.

Chad Kemenah won in 2004 at Tri-State Speedway with the All Star Circuit of Champions. The native of Findlay, Ohio was seventh last season at the track with the World of Outlaws and in his career has four Top-10 finishes.

Terry McCarl has one win at the high-banked ¼-mile in career, with that coming in 1996. He finished second there in 2006 and was ninth last season. The six-time Knoxville Raceway and Huset’s Speedway track champion has nine Top-10 finishes this season and is 10th in points.

Daryn Pittman has two career Top-10 finishes at Tri-State Speedway. He won once last season on a ¼-mile at Riverside International Speedway in West Memphis, Arkansas. The native of Owasso, Oklahoma has 12 Top-10 finishes this season and is just outside of the Top-10 in points.

Sam Hafertepe Jr. made his debut at Tri-State Speedway last season, during his rookie campaign with the World of Outlaws. The native of Sunnyvale, Texas has had a strong start to his sophomore season with the series, picking up nine Top-10 finishes thus far.

Kraig Kinser made his last start at the ¼-mile in 2005. He finished third at the track in 2003 with the former Great Lakes Outlaw Sprint Series. The third generation driver is currently in his first full season driving for Tony Stewart Racing as a teammate to Donny Schatz.

Jason Sides has made three starts during his career at Tri-State Speedway. The 2003 Kevin Gobrecht Rookie of the Year has five Top-10 finishes this season.

Tony Bruce Jr. and Chad Hillier both made their debuts at Tri-State Speedway last season during their rookie campaigns with the World of Outlaws.

Paul McMahan has three Top-10 finishes in his career at the high-banked ¼-mile, including a third-place run in 2005. He recently joined forces with car owner Lonnie Parsons to pilot the No. 6 machine, picking up a Top-10 finish in just his second race with the team at Cedar Lake Speedway on Sunday.

Lucas Wolfe, Current Kevin Gobrecht Rookie of the Year leader from Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania will miss the event after sustaining a back injury at Tri-City Speedway last month.

2007 Race Recap: Steve Kinser continued to add to his remarkable track record at the ¼-mile in his home state by picking up his seventh career World of Outlaws win at Tri-State Speedway.

Kinser led from the drop of the green, as he used the high side of the track to win a drag race down the front straightaway with Danny Lasoski. By just the sixth lap of the 40-lap contest, Kinser was already in lapped traffic.

Early in the race, Paul McMahan closed in on Kinser in traffic and took a couple of looks to the low side of the track, and took the lead briefly coming entering the second turn, but he jumped the cushion and it took a few laps for him to recover. Likewise, Tim Kaeding, tried to power his way under Kinser, but the momentum from the high side of the track helped him fend off all challengers. Each time Kinser was credited as being the leader at the start-finish line, thus leading wire-to-wire.

Five cautions in the last 15 laps of the event slowed down a race that saw a blistering pace for the first 25 circuits.

Jac Haudenschild thrilled the crowd late in the race as he charged into the Top-Five and lined up second after a late caution. He used the extreme high side of the track, and was just inches off the wall as he chased down Kinser. He jumped the cushion a couple of times late in the race, as he was pushing his car as hard as it would go, and thus lost some momentum on the high side of the track.

Jason Meyers powered his way to a third-place finish, with Jeremy Campbell and Zach Chappell rounding out the Top-Five.
