L.J. KENNEDY TRUCKING AND SOUTHERN TIER COAL PRESENT THE ANNUAL CHRISTMAS IN JULY NIGHT AT THE WOODHULL RACEWAY.
Over 50 boys and girls bicycles will be given away at the July 19 event.
( Woodhull , NY ) One of the countries largest over the road flat bed trucking companies, the L.J. Kennedy Trucking Company will make their annual appearance at the Woodhull Raceway on Saturday, July 19, 2008. With home offices in Kearny , NJ , Kennedy Trucking has been one of Woodhull’s key marketing partners for the past several years and in 2008 they stepped up their program to include sponsorship of the T3 All Star Series for 358 Modifieds as well as corporate sponsorship at Woodhull’s sister track, the Clinton County Speedway in Mackeyville , Pa.
“Our strategy has been to recruit new drivers in the upstate New York area, particularly in the Southern Tier region, stated Kennedy spokesman, Mitch Bookbinder . Our marketing program fits very will what is going on at the Woodhull Raceway and now we have actually stepped things up in 2008 with the additional of Clinton County . We always look forward to our sponsorship night at Woodhull as we make it an entire weekend affair for many of our drivers and their families.”
In addition to the L.J. Kennedy Trucking Company, Southern Tier Coal, Jasper Street in Woodhull will also be on board to sponsor the show. Todd and Amy Howsell, owners of Southern Tier Coal are in their second year of participation at the track as a marketing partner and oh how their business has grown thru their involvement in Motorsports. In addition to their involvement at Woodhull, Southern Tier Coal’s name appears on numerous cars at the track including the 2007 NAPA 360 Late Model Champion, Wayne Robertson. With the every rising cost of energy, many people are finding the tremendous benefits involved with burning coal and Southern Tier Coal are the experts in the region on coal and cola stoves.
Gates for the July 19 event open at 4:30 with racing at 6:30.
Like they have for the past several years, Santa and Mrs. Clause will make their way from the North Pole to the Woodhull for this unique experience where over 50 boys and girls will receive brand new bicycles. It’s the Annual Christmas in July celebration at the Woodhull Raceway.
