Bill Kirila Memorial, Mid-Season Champiosnhip and Fireworks Headline Sharon Speedway's July 5th Racing Action
Hartford, OH July 2, 2008 Celebrate your Fourth of July Holiday this Saturday, July 5th at the Sharon Speedway. The Bill Kirila Memorial featuring Mid-Season Championship racing and double points for all of the "Fantastic Five" divisions will highlight the "on track" action and Pyrotecnic of New Castle, PA will "light up" the skies over the speedway with a spectacular fireworks display!!
A complete program for the Warren Harley-Davidson 410 Sprint Cars, the Gibson-Governor Big Block Modifieds, Tom's Sewer and Drain E-Mods, Tight-Seal Glass Block Pure Stocks and the Limited Sprints will begin promptly at 6:00PM. In addition Seven Seas Leisure Centers, Attorney John Grundy and Dreves Insurance will be sponsoring the evening's racing action and presenting trophies to the feature winners.
This week's intermission will feature an autograph session for the Tight-Seal Glass Block Pure Stock drivers. Race fans of all ages will have the opportunity to chat with their favorite Pure Stock drivers and get their autographs. The Independent Insurance Agents of Trumbull County will present trophies to the feature winners in all divisions.
Prepare to "Buckle Up and Hang On" as Sharon Speedway presents another action packed "Fantastic Five" racing card this Saturday, June 28th.
Pit Gates open at 3:00PM with the Grandstand Gates opening at 4:00PM. The first green flag will wave promptly at 6:00PM.
