RAIN STOPS URC RUN FRIDAY NIGHT AT BRIDGEPORT

A much anticipated event, the July 4th Rislone URC Sprint Series was to
invade Bridgeport Speedway for this holiday special event. Last year,
this same event was presented and delivered a strong turnout of fans to
see the URC sprints compete with the 358 Modifieds on the big tack as
the micro-sprints competed on the quarter mile. Unfortunately, morning
rain with a forecast of late day thunderstorms forced the cancellation
of this program. At this time, a rain date has not be set however,
track management and URC Managing Members are looking at all options.
