Little Valley Speedway to Host Double Features on July 12th
Due to the untimely invasion of fog on July 3rd, fans are in for a real treat on Saturday, July 12th, when the Summer Late Model Special, sponsored by Emerling Chevrolet/Ford-Mercury, takes to the track. In addition to the regular program, featuring the Super Late Models, Super Stocks, UEMS E-Mods, and Street Stocks, the ULMS Super Late Models, running for $3,000 to win, will run the postponed race from July 3rd, with the field already set, along with the also delayed Street Stock Feature, a $500 to win race, which is set as well, as all qualifiers were completed on July 3rd before the fog made its appearance.
Importantly, the makeup features will run first, beginning at 6:30 sharp, with hot laps set for 5:30 sharp, with the regular show, with its qualifying and features, to follow. The Super Late Models will run for $3,000 to win, with the Super Stocks racing for a $1,000 first place check, the E-Mods vying for $650 for first place, and the Street Stocks running for a hefty $750 winning check as part of the NY/PA Challenge Series. This will be the final event at the speedway until August 24th, as the Cattaraugus County Fair takes center stage, so dont miss it.
Adult admission remains at $14 for the night, with those under twelve admitted free. Little Valley Speedway is located at the Cattaraugus County Fairgrounds on Rt. 353 in Little Valley, NY, just north of Salamanca, and eight miles from Ellicottville. The track features a covered grandstand, great food, free parking, and free camping with hookups right on the grounds.
