This Saturday, July 12th it’s Dig Safely New York “Kid’s Flag Night” presented by Currier Plastics. All kids in attendance will receive a FREE checker flag upon entering the Speedway.

The DIRTcar Big-Block Modifieds, DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds, DIRTcar Street Stocks, and PureStox will take the green at 7pm.

The Pit area will open at 4pm Saturday, with the grandstand gates swinging open at 5pm.

Personal Seat Licenses continue to be available. Along with your personalized seat, you will also receive four DIRTcar “5-Packs.” Each 5pak coupon is good for (1) admission to all regular season events. For special events, each coupon can be used as a $12 credit towards admission.

Providing another great deal for fans, single purchases of “5-Pack” tickets can be purchased for $48.

Tickets for all regular season events will be made available at the gate. Adult general admission is set at $12, $10 for Seniors (Age 65+), $5 for children (Ages 10-14), and those under the age of 9 are FREE.

Pit admission for DIRTcar Northeast members will be $20, while non-members will be admitted for $25.

Last Saturday night, Gary Tomkins returned to Canandaigua Speedway victory lane for the third time this season in the $2,008 to win 36-lap Mid-Summer Championship Special. Steve Paine and Matt Sheppard joined Tomkins as podium finishers. Charlie Donk ran a tremendous race, coming from 22nd on the grid to a fourth place finish ahead of Chuck Bower in fifth.

The Big-Block Modified standings are very close at the top of the list. Tomkins holds a slim 10-point lead over Paine, while Sheppard sits third just 40-markers out of the lead. Charlie Donk and Jeff Brownell Jr. complete the top five drivers in the Championship standings.

Nick Guererri visited victory lane at Canandaigua for the second time in his career in the DIRTcar Sportsman Modified division last Saturday. Kevin Ridley continues to lead the way in the standings ahead of Steve Gray, Henderson, Dan Wiesner, and Guererri.

Mike Welch and Marc Minutolo took victories in the DIRTcar Street Stock and PureStox divisions. Adam Depuy continues to lead the Street Stock standings, while Minutolo extended his lead in the PureStox division.
