$10 TICKET FOR A FULL NIGHT OF RACING JULY 12 AT WILLIAMS GROVE
MECHANICSBURG, PA -- The Saturday Night Series returns to Williams Grove Speedway on July 12 and one of the most attractive events in the
three-year history of the series will be presented.
When rain interrupted the program on June 28, the stage was set for
a full night of action on July 12.
The racing will include two super sportsman consolation races,
which will fill the field for the first sportsman feature of the night.
Also, one street stock qualifier and a street stock feature will be
run.
All of the above races were rained out on June 28. After these
events have been completed the entire regularly scheduled program for
July 12 will be run. It will include qualifying races if necessary for
the super sportsman, limited late models, street stocks and 4-cylinder
stock cars and features for all four divisions.
There will be no enduro racing on July 12.
The Williams Grove-Trail Way Hoosier Tire Mid-Atlantic Shootout for
limited late models will also be concluded on July 12. $1000 in point
money will be distributed to the top ten drivers who participated in the
Shootout at Williams Grove and Trail Way.
There will be no increase in the usual Saturday Night Series
admission price of ten dollars, which makes this event one of the racing
bargains of the year in the mid-state area.
Racing is scheduled to begin at 7:00.
The rained out limited late model and 4-cylinder stock car portions
of the June 28 program will open another full night of racing on July 26
which will also include the super sportsman cars and street stocks.
