The Summer Stretch is Here as the Racing Continues to Heat Up!
With the racing season getting into full-swing the Driveline has been a little slow. However, with the summer stretch on the way the Driveline is back with all the ins and outs of DIRTcar Northeast!
kids fun laps scheduled for this sunday at cayuga county fair speedway !
Cayuga County Fair Speedway is pleased to announce Bud Light Night at the Races with Kid’s Fun Laps presented by K&S Carwash for this Sunday, July 13th. Be sure to bring the kids to the Speedway so they can get their chance to ride around the Weedsport oval in a real racecar.
The Big-Block Modifieds, Sportsman Modifieds, Street Stocks, BattleKarz and NY Modified Midgets will take the green at 7pm.
next stop for super dirtcar series: Great canadian tour!
The Advance Auto Parts Super DIRTcar Series for Big-Block Modifieds is about to embark on its Great Canadian Tour starting Thursday, July 10th at Brockville Ontario Speedway. From there the tour will head to Autodrome Granby on the 11th, Autodrome Drummond on the 12th, and end at Cornwall Motor Speedway the 13th.
The month of July will continue to sizzle beyond Cornwall as the tour will then head to Grandview and Georgetown Speedways on July16th-17th before ending the month at Orange County Fair Speedway Thursday, July 31st.
Currently Billy Decker leads the standings by 60-markers over Danny Johnson, with Brett Hearn, Dale Planck, and Jimmy Phelps filling the top five.
parts plus big 6 street stock series completes round two of six!
Adam Depuy and Dave Mannise have scored the first two victories on the Parts Plus Big 6 Street Stock tour. Depuy grabbed the series opener at Cayuga County Fair Speedway, while Mannise took round two at Rolling Wheels Raceway Park . The next event for the series will be Saturday, August 16th at Canandaigua Speedway. Currently Mannise holds the series point lead by 13-points over Mike Welch in the no. 00. Depuy, Daryl Krebs, and Andy Fisk are currently in the top five in the Big 6 standings. After Canandaigua on August 16th the series will return to the Land of Legends on September 19th before returning to Rolling Wheels on September 26th.
Super dirt week tickets
Renewal forms have been made available for 2008 Super DIRT Week tickets. The deadline for guaranteed early renewal has passed, however the DIRTcar Northeast office will still be taking phone calls and renewal sheets on a first come-first serve basis to reserve tickets for next season. Buzzie Weber grabs $1,000 at cayuga county fair enduro!
Buzzie Weber dominated the Independence 201 Enduro July 6th at Cayuga County Fair Speedway. Weber, and his no. 24w Mazda machine, ran nearly the entire race in second gear after having gear shift issues.
Weber outlasted runner-up Kyle Stoltz, third place finisher Bruce Unger and nearly 40 other competitors for the big win.
Stoltz took home $300 for second, while Unger pulled down $200 in third. The next Pick-n-Pull Auto Parts Enduro will be October 25th for the Goblin 200. The event will have a rain date of October 26th.
Mr. dirtcar sportsman modified series heats up in july!
July has proved to be a pivotal month for the Mr. DIRTcar Sportsman Modified Series. Twin feature events were won at Rolling Wheels Raceway by Mark D’Ilario and Todd Town. Chris Hile then pulled off the win the next night at Brewerton Speedway in the Ernie Kries owned no. 2k. The series will next head north of the border at the Brockville Ontario Speedway Thursday, July 10th. Right now Dan Wiesner is the series leader over Matt Williamson, Jeremy Pitcher, Chris Raabe, and John Pietrowicz. After Brockville the series will not return to action until Monday, September 1st at the Rolling Wheels Raceway.
canandaigua speedway prepares for kid’s flag night
This Saturday, July 12 it is Dig Safely New York “Kid’s Flag Night” presented by Currier Plastics at the Land of Legends . All Kids in attendance will receive a FREE flag when they walk into the Speedway .
The DIRTcar Big-Block Modifieds, DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds, DIRTcar Street Stocks, and PureStox will take the green Saturday night at 7pm.

don’t forget… super dirtcar series returns to canandaigua and cayuga county fair speedways in august
Saturday, August 9th the Super DIRTcar Series for Big-Block Modifieds returns to the Canandaigua Speedway for Twin 50 feature events. Racing will start that evening at 7pm. Joining the racing card will be the DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds, DIRTcar Street Stocks and PureStox.
Sunday, August 31st the Super DIRTcar Series heads to the Weedsport oval for the “Budweiser Twin 54’s.” Racing will again start at 7pm with the DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds, and DIRTcar Street Stocks also in action.
