Fremont Speedway rained out, Saturday, July 12
FREMONT, Ohio - Heavy, persistent rains Saturday morning with more forecast
throughout the afternoon and evening prompted officials to pull the plug on
Schiets Motorsports Night at Fremont Speedway for Saturday, July 12.
"We got a heck of a rain in the late morning and then a few more
showers...by the time we ran the track in, more rain was forecast. We didn't
want to put our fans and teams through a long night with the possibility we
wouldn't even get the entire show in. To save everyone the headache and
money, we decided to cancel," said Fremont Speedway Co-Promoter Rich Farmer.
Fremont Speedway will be back in action Saturday, July 19 as Beck Oil
sponsors the night of action featuring the Fort Ball Pizza Palace 410
Sprints, Fremont Federal Credit Union 305 Sprints and the Fremont Fence Dirt
Trucks. Gates open at 4 p.m. with racing underway at 7 p.m.
