VANDALISM AT THE SPEEDWAY, ENDURO RACING CURRENTLY STILL ON FOR TODAY…By Gary Lileck Forestville, PA – July 13, 2008 – The water supply at Big Diamond Raceway has been vandalized. Despite the setback, BDR officials have every intention to go on with today’s Enduro program as scheduled. At 10:00 AM this morning four local fire companies began hauling water onto the speedway grounds.
The weather pattern looks favorable and bright sunshine filled skies currently grace the area. Since the weather is in question, fans, drivers, and teams are encouraged to call the speedway hotline today at 570-544-1410 for updates.
Pit gates open at 2:30PM this afternoon. Spectators may enter the stands beginning at 3:00PM. Adult general admission to the stands is $5. Enduro Racing begins at 5:00PM. The 6/8 Cylinder (Big Car) race will go a distance of 100-laps as will the 4 Cylinder (Small Car) event.
A test and tune will be held for any and all division with an approximate starting time of 7:30PM.
