Valley Tire/Coke Summer Showdown this Sunday at Rolling Wheels Raceway Park

This Sunday, July 20th it’s the Valley Tire/Coke Summer Showdown presented by We Care Holdings at Rolling Wheels Raceway Park . Be sure to bring your youth soccer players to the track as well for “Salute to Youth Soccer Night”, as all kids wearing soccer uniforms will be admitted FREE.
The DIRTcar Big-Block Modifieds, DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds, and DIRTcar Street Stocks will take the green at 7pm. The pit area will open at 4pm, with the grandstands opening at 5pm.
Tickets for all regular season events will be made available at the gate. Adult general admission is set at $12, $10 for Seniors (Age 65+), $5 for children (Ages 10-14), and those under the age of 9 are FREE.
The last event at Rolling Wheels Raceway Park was held on Thursday, July 3 featuring the Mr. DIRTcar Sportsman Modified Series “Firecracker Twins.” Mark D’Ilario and Todd Town visited victory lane that evening. James Michael Friesen and Dan Wiesner have also visited victory lane this season at the Wheels in the DIRTcar Sportsman division.
Sunday will mark the second event of the season for the Big-Block Modifieds at ‘The Fast Track.’ Billy Decker and Dale Planck shared victories on May 4th during the Advance Auto Parts Super DIRTcar Series Challenge Cup Twin 50’s. Look for all of the Big-Block heavy hitters to be in attendance as the Cayuga County Fair Speedway has Sunday night off.
The DIRTcar Street Stocks will be making their second trip of the season to Rolling Wheels this Sunday. The first event came on July 3 as a part of the Parts Plus Big 6 Street Stock Series. Dave Mannise came across the line ahead of Mike Welch for the big win.
This Sunday is shaping up to be another great night of racing at the Elbridge, NY speed plant. Don’t forget, several past drivers will also be on hand for the “Salute to Racing Heroes” celebration. Come to the Speedway to get autographs and re-live racing stories and memories of the past.
