Cayuga County Fair Speedway’s racing schedule will be moved to Rolling Wheels Raceway Park this Sunday, July 20th. As a result the DIRTcar Big-Block Modifieds, and DIRTcar Street Stocks will be running for Cayuga County Fair Speedway points at ‘The Fast Track.’ The night’s starting line-ups will also be aligned based on Cayuga County Fair Speedway handicapping.
“We are regarding Sunday’s show as a Cayuga County Fair Speedway event,” said General Manager, Jack Deery. “Sunday’s show has been placed at the Wheels due to the K-Rockathon on Saturday at Cayuga County .”
While the DIRTcar Big-Blocks and Street Stocks are running for Cayuga County Fair Speedway points, the DIRTcar Sportsman Modifieds will be running for Rolling Wheels track points.
“The Sportsman will be running for the Rolling Wheels track title based on the number of events that they will be running there throughout the year,” said Deery. “Our Big-Blocks and Street Stocks simply don’t run enough races for a title at the Wheels, which leads us to count that race for Cayuga County points. With all of the rainouts on Sundays, it will help build our Cayuga County Fair standings as well.”
The pit gates will open at 4pm, and the grandstands will open at 5pm on Sunday. Racing is scheduled to take place right away at 7pm this weekend.
