"MS EXCITEMENT" BECCA ANDERSON EYES BIG NIGHT AT DELAWARE INTERNATIONAL
SATURDAY
Becca Anderson of Houston, DE is quickly becoming sprint car racings'
only Ms. Excitement and this Saturday night, she'll be the gal to watch
when the Rislone URC Sprint Series returns to Delaware International
Speedway on Saturday night, August 2. Anderson won the previous URC
sprint feature at the Delaware International Speedway back on June 28
and she's ready for her return to Delaware International this Saturday
night. Since scoring her first win of the season and first win ever for
the Bar's Leaks sponsored race team, Anderson has be on a roll, and
thrilling crowds at every show. Becca is now ranked fourth in the
season long point chase and trails third place by just sixty-five
points. Along with Becca Anderson, Dave Ely is another favorite to
win. Ely scored his third win of the season on Saturday night, with a
last lap pass for the lead to take the victory at Grandview Speedway.
Ely is ranked second in points, trailing multi-time URC Champion Curt
Michael.
Another driver to watch is URC's only other three time feature winner
this season is JJ Grasso. For Grasso, his three wins came at the New
Egypt Speedway and he would like nothing more than to break in and score
a win at Delaware International Speedway.
Anderson, Ely, Grasso and Curt Michael are four drivers to watch this
Saturday night, but lets not count out the John Pinter owned team with
drivers Ed Aikin and Michael Carber along with Davey Sammons in the
Palladino #99. A field of at least thirty URC sprint cars are expected
to take part in three qualifying heat race events, a "B" Main and the
$2,000 to win twenty-five lap Rislone URC Sprint Series feature event.
