$30,000 to win USAC Challenge at Oskaloosa.

POPULAR FORMAT RETURNS FOR $30,000-TO-WIN

SEARSBORO TELEPHONE USAC ULTIMATE CHALLENGE AT OSKALOOSA

Sprint car drivers of the wing and non-wing variety will be colliding Tuesday, August 5, at the Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa, Iowa for the Searsboro Telephone Ultimate Challenge! The United States Auto Club (USAC) will sanction the event for the first time, assuring the best in the non-wing business will be on hand. Also returning by popular demand is the heat/qualifier format assuring fast-paced racing action in every event that hits the track!

“We’re so excited to have USAC on board with us,” says McTwo Promotions Terry McCarl. “The fans have spoken, and told us that they love the heat/qualifier format rather than time trials for the non-wing event. This show is for them, and USAC is working with us to make this the best Ultimate Challenge ever! We had one of the best non-wing fields ever assembled last year, and our pre-entries are telling us this year could be even better!”

Defending National Champion and 2005 Ultimate Challenge champion Levi Jones will lead the USAC contingent. Jerry Coons Jr. took $30,000 at the 2006 Ultimate Challenge, and is currently second in the point race, followed by 17-year-old hot-shoe Cole Whitt, Jones’ Tony Stewart Racing teammate Tracy Hines, and steady veteran Dave Darland.

Also expected are Kasey Kahne Racing stablemates Brady Bacon and Brad Sweet, Shane “Throttle” Cottle, Darren Hagen, the “Demon” Damion Gardner, and Jesse “the Rocket” Hockett, who can be expected to bring excitement by his mere presence. Tim “TK” Kaeding, known for his high-flying, rim riding driving style with a wing, is just one of the record pre-entries received for the non-wing $30,000-to-win classic!

As well as the tremendous payoff on the line, a number of contingency sponsors have stepped up! The popular format will be used with passing points used in the heats. Each heat winner will receive a wheel from Weld. After the heats, qualifiers will be run, inverted by passing points through the heats. Each Qualifier winner will receive a new Winters rear-end!!!

The driver going home with $30,000 will have earned it!
