KASEY KAHNE, TONY STEWART, DAVE BLANEY COMING AUGUST 19

MECHANICSBURG, PA -- The remaining dates for sprint car racing at
Williams Grove Speedway in August are filled with special events
beginning this Friday, the 8th, when the 358 c.i. sprints will compete
in a championship event.
The 410 c.i. sprint cars will, as usual, have top billing in the
August 8 event, but the Bass Pro Shops 358s will compete in an extra
distance, extra purse feature.
This will be the last time the 358s are scheduled at Williams Grove
until Sunday evening, August 31.
The August 8 program is slated to start at 8:00.
The Grove's 410 division will take center stage on Friday night,
August 15, for the Jack Gunn Memorial Triple 20s presented b the Law
Offices of Colgan Marzzacco.
This Diamond Series event will feature three 20-lap features for
sprint cars and it has become one of the most popular nights of the year
at Williams Grove.
Only four days later, on Tuesday evening, August 19, some of the
biggest names in NASCAR racing will be at Williams Grove to challenge
some of the best sprint car drivers in the East and from other parts of
the country as well.
NASCAR stars Kasey Kahne, Tony Stewart and Dave Blaney are
scheduled to compete in sprint cars at the Ollie's Bargain Outlet 360
Challenge to benefit the Kasey Kahne Foundation.
With $6000 going to the winner of the Ollie's 360 Challenge, a
strong field of sprint car competition will be ready and waiting for the
NASCAR stars.
Three nights later, on August 22, the 360s will be back at Williams
Grove for a race sanctioned by URC, but this time the Grove's own 410
c.i. sprint cas will also be on the card.
Twin 20s for sprint cars will be the featured attraction for
another Diamond Series event on August 29. A fireworks display will
follow the racing to help kick off the Labor Day weekend.
August will end with the Billy Kimmel Memorial, a rare Sunday night
program on the 31st, featuring sprint cars, 358s and super sportsman cars.
