"Fantastic Four" and a "Sprint Car Double Dip" On Tap at Sharon Speedway
Hartford, OH August 13, 2008 "Buckle Up and Hang On" as Sharon Speedway presents another action packed card of dirt track racing this Saturday, August 16th. The Gibson-Governor Insurance Agency Modified Division has the evening off however race fans will be treated to a "Fantastic Four" racing card featuring the Warren Harley-Davidson 410 Sprints, the Tom's Sewer and Drain Service E-Mods, the Tight-Seal Glass Block Pure Stocks and the Limited Sprints. In addition, the feature events for the 410 and Limited Sprint Divisions that were rained out last Saturday will be kick off this Saturday's racing action. This added "Sprint Car Double Dip" means that race fans get to see six thrilling feature events at no additional cost!
Trophies will be presented to the winners of the regularly scheduled feature events courtesy of Mark Thomas Ford of Cortland. In addition it will also be Twin State Auto Racing Fan Club Night. All members of the Club will receive free Grandstand Admission with the feature winners in each division receiving a plaque from the Club's representatives.
"Fantastic Five" racing action will return on Saturday, August 23rd with the final "Fantastic Five" program scheduled for Saturday, August 30th.
Race fans are also reminded that the month of September will "Sizzle" with Specials. The September 6th program will showcase the Limited Sprints, Tom's Sewer and Drain Service E-Mods and the Tight-Seal Glass Block Pure Stock Divisions. In addition a special added surprise will be announced in the near future.
A Monster Truck Spectacular headlines the Saturday, September 13th program.
The 2008 Sharon Speedway season will then conclude on Saturday and Sunday September 20th and 21st with the Apple Festival Nationals featuring two days of ASCS 360 Sprint action. The BRP/Hoosier Race Tires Modified Tour '08 and the Tight-Seal Glass Block Pure Stocks will complete the card.
Pit Gates for this Saturday's racing action will open at 3:00PM with the Grandstand Gates opening at 4:00PM. Racing begins promptly at 6:00PM.
Adult General Admission is $11.00 with Teens (Ages 9-13) priced at $5.00. Children ages Eight and Under are Free. Pit Admission is $22.00.
