Glen Ridge Rescheduled for Saturday October 25, 2008
Sodus, NY – Mother Nature has not been kind to the traveling teams on the A-Verdi Storage Containers / CNYMS tour in 2008. As many tracks have experienced throughout the season a dark cloud appeared over top of the New Glen Ridge Speedway on Friday evening which in the end would wash out the second visit of the lightning fast Mini Sprints.
The teams took to the track for a hot laps session and “just plain blistered the place” according to series owner Mike Emhof. “I expected a super fast paced program with the excellent condition of the racing surface prior to the rain”!
Glen Ridge and CNYMS management worked out details to bring the A-Verdi Storage Containers / CNYMS touring mini sprints back on Saturday afternoon October 25, 2008. “I would look for a 20 plus car program when the teams return to Glen Ridge this fall” stated owner Mike Emhof
