O'REILLY USMTS SOUTHERN SERIES SHOWS AT BEAUMONT, WILLIS
POSTPONED BY RAIN
BEAUMONT, Texas (Aug. 20) - The O'Reilly USMTS Southern
Series events slated for Friday and Saturday, Aug. 22-23,
have been rained out.
More than four inches of rain have fallen during the last
48 hours, and track officials regret that the racing
surfaces would not be ready in time for this weekend's big
shows.
The races which were slated for the Golden Triangle
Raceway Park in Beaumont, Texas, and the Gator Motorplex
in Willis, Texas, will be rescheduled for a later date,
likely in October.
Officials will announce the new dates when they are
confirmed.
