FREMONT - Many of today's 410 sprint car drivers got their start competing
in the tough 305 sprint division at Fremont Speedway. And the future looks
even brighter if you look at the talented crop of drivers in the Fremont
Federal Credit Union 305 Sprint division this year - including a large group
of rookies.

Those drivers will take center stage Sunday, Aug. 31 in one of the richest
purses in the country for 305 sprints during the 9th Annual All Pro Cylinder

11.$250; 12. $240; 13. $230; 14. $220; $15. $210; 16. $200; 17. $190; 18.

There have been 12 different winners in the 305 sprint division in 12 races
in 2008, including first timers Brad Haudenschild, Josh Muntz, Cap Henry,
Travis Hoffbauer, Duane Zablocki and Nate Dussel.

And there are several drivers who have had consistent top five finishes all
season such as point leader Stuart Brubaker, who recently claimed the Attica
Raceway Park championship with four feature wins; Kevin Lee who is only 26
points behind Brubaker; Dustin Dinan who has a feature win; Bobby Clark who
has a feature win at Fremont; Matt Merrill who has a victory; Steve Rando
who bested a field of 305 and 360 sprints; and many others.

The former winners of the 305 sprint invite is impressive: 2000- Bobby
Foster; 2001 - Bryan Scott; 2002 - Roger Shammo; 2003 - Scott Miller; 2004
and 2006 - Paul Weaver; and 2007 - Andy Shammo.

"The 305 sprint division has some of the best talent from top to bottom that
you'll find in any class around the country," said Fremont Speedway
Promoters Rich Farmer and Andy James. "There's been a different winner each
night and there's a great mix of veterans and talented rookies...it's just a
very entertaining division that deserves this race and the fans have
indicated over the years this is a must-see show."

Fremont Speedway's 305 rules apply for this race. The 305 sprints will also
qualify one lap to determine their heat race line-ups.

Besides the 305 sprints, the Fremont Fence Dirt Trucks, the Attica Late
Models and school buses will be in action.

Admission is $12 for adults; $10 for senior citizens, $6 for teens (11-16);
and as always, kids 10 and under are free.

Gates will open on Sunday, Sept. 2 at 4 p.m. racing to get underway at 7
p.m. For more
