"Fantastic Five" Finale Scheduled This Week
Hartford, OH August 25, 2008 Its the "Fantastic Five" Finale this Saturday, August 30th as the final regular program of the 2008 reacing season will be held. Fans will have the opportunity to see the Warren Harley-Davidson 410 Sprints Cars, the Gibson-Governor Insurance Agency Modifieds, the Tom's Sewer and Drain Service E-Mods, Tight-Seal Glass Block Pure Stocks and the Limited Sprints together for the final time in 2008. In addition the Speedway will crown its 2008 divisional champions.

The Limited Sprint Division Points battle finds defending divisional champion Guy Griffin leading teenager Brandon Spithaler by just three points heading into the final night of point action. Griffin has captured five feature wins to Spithaler's two however the Evans City, PA youngster has not been intimidated by Griffin's experience. Griffin may have captured the victory last Saturday but Spithaler's second place finish kept him "in the hunt" and ready to "pounce" in the event that Griffin makes even one tiny mistake.

Slippery Rock, PA driver Dave Murdick currently leads the Gibson-Governor Insurance Agency Modified Point Standings. Murdick has used consistency to stay atop the standings as he has finished no worse that seventh in any of the feature events. Murdick would definitely like to pick up the win this Saturday as the Armstrong Zoom Internet Troyer has been getting stronger each week.
Defending Divisional Champion Del Rougeux Jr. currently sits in second spot and still has a mathematical possibility of capturing the crown should Murdick fail to take the green in either the heat or feature action this Saturday.

Like Murdick, Warren Harley-Davidson 410 Sprint Driver Dan Shetler has used consistency to stay atop the point standings. The Johnstown, PA driver has captured his first ever points title in spite of not visiting Victory Lane in 2008. Shetler pilots the Chiapelli Motorsports Team owned sprinter that makes the long tow from Johnstown, PA each Saturday.

"Double Duty" Alan Dellinger has put together a string of eight E-Mod victories and nine Pure Stock victories at the Speedway this year to hold a commanding lead in both the Tom's Sewer and Drain Service E-Mod and the Tight-Seal Glass Block Pure Stock Division Points battles. Dellinger pilots the Dwayne Clay owned #007 in E-Mod action and the Jeff Burns #70 in Pure Stock action.

In addition to a full card of "Fantastic Five" racing action it will also be Pepsi Night as Pepsi will present trophies to each of the feature event winners.

Adult General Admission is $11.00 with Teens (Ages 9-13) priced at $5.00. Children ages Eight and Under are Free. Pit Admission is $22.00.
