Win Number Two Brings Nick Mulheim Ever Closer to a Track Championship.
With their first full season of 410 racing nearly gone and quite a few lessons learned Mulheim Motorsports is wanting to close out the season strong. With just a few races left in the season they are looking forward to spending some more time with family and friends and re-loading the guns for next year.
Starting fourth in his heat Nick wanted to capitalize on that with a heat race win. Right off the bat the 38m was able to move forward into third but try as he might he couldn’t gain any more spots. After checking out the high, low, and middle ground, third was where he finished.
Another fourth place beginning in the feature would prove fruitful right from the get go when the top side of the track was very conducive to good, hard racing. By the time the first lap was completed Nick was running second, glued to the leader’s bumper. Using the top side of three and four Nick was able to grab the lead at around the lap seven mark. Once taking the point it was all said and done as the Mulheim Motorsports entry never looked back earning their second feature win of the season.
