Goldesberry Sets Sights on 2009 Rookie Title With O’Reilly Midwest All Stars.

Jordan Goldesberry’s career will be taking another turn in 2009. The
17-year old Springfield, Illinois native will take on “The Best of the
Midwest” with the O’Reilly Midwest All Star Series and will compete for
the 2009 Rookie of the Year honors. Goldesberry has competed on a
limited basis in 2008 with the series and has performed well against
some of the best competition the Midwest has to offer.
Goldesberry has already seen success running as a Freshman with a
series. Jordan scored top rookie honors in 2007 with the Sprint Invader
organization, a 360 sanctioning body. In 2009 Goldesberry can expect to
run a similar schedule to what the team is already familiar with
running, primarily in the Illinois, Missouri, and Indiana areas.
Jack Goldesberry, team owner and Jordan’s father states, “The O’Reilly
Midwest All Star Series is a great series for us to be running with in
2009. We made this decision based on the fact that Jordan will get some
valuable seat time and get to visit additional tracks. Our overall goal
as a team is obviously to grow and we feel that this is a good fit for
what our future plans are.”
