SCHEDULE CHANGE FINDS THE FINAL T3 ALL STAR SERIES EVENT OF THE SEASON MOVED TO SATURDAY, OCTOBER 11 AT THE WOODHULL RACEWAY.
(Woodhull, NY) The T3 All Star Series for 358 Modifieds presented by Troyer Race Cars will still wrap up the 2008 season at the Woodhull Raceway as planned, however there has been a slight schedule change in the event which was originally scheduled for Saturday, October 4 as that date has now been changed to Saturday, October 11.
The ownership of the Woodhull recently issued a full statement press release outlining the rational for the schedule change.
“Woodhull Raceway owner, Vern Wasson presented this change to our organization a few weeks ago and quite frankly we don’t see any problems with the switch from Oct. 4 to Oct. 11. Granted, there are some other events on that same weekend, however after looking at everyone’s schedules for both Oct. 4 and Oct 11 and if Woodhull didn’t make this switch there would be all sorts of problems for them trying to do a Big Block/Small Block event on Oct. 11. For independent racers there are no Small Block conflicts on Oct. 11.” That according to sources at the T3 All Star Series.
The goal of the T3 All Star Series for 358 Modifieds presented by Troyer Race Cars in 2008 was to have Woodhull host the season finale barring any rainouts from earlier events that have to be pushed back into late October and things are still on target for that goal to be accomplished.
The management of both the Woodhull Raceway as well as the T3 All Star Series apologizes for any inconvenience this change presents to the fans, sponsor and racers.
The T3 event at Woodhull on Oct. 11 will pay $1,500 to win with $150 to take the green.
Upcoming T3 All Star Series events include the Woodhull Raceway on Sept. 13 with a Sept. 14 rain date, Little Valley on Sept. 20 with a Sept 21 rain date, Mercer Raceway Park on Sept 27 with a Sept. 28 rain date and then back to Woodhull for the season finale on Oct. 11.
