The Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprints to Make History this Friday Night: Returns to Lebanon Valley after 21 Years.

SYRACUSE, N.Y. – It will be 21 years to the day…This Friday night the 25th Anniversary Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprints (ESS) will make its return to the high banks of the Lebanon Valley Speedway in West Lebanon, N.Y. One of the most successful tracks in the Nation, ESS will highlight the first night of “Kings 200 Weekend” where the winged wonders will tackle one of the most historic tracks in the Northeast.

Under the guidance of former promoter of the year Howie Commander, the Valley will produce some of the fastest speeds that the stars and cars of ESS will see all year. With its long straits and high banked corners, the ½ mile will prove to be a challenge to some of the best 360 sprint car pilots from both nations.

Leading the brigade will be current point leader and eight time winner this season in Steve Poirier. The Quebec star has had big block modified experience on the high banks and will be considered one of the favorites. But, several ESS stars have made its way to the Eastern, N.Y. facility as well which includes Lance Yonge, Justin Barger, Jeff VanDusen, Doug Emery, Russ Bennett and more.

They will be joined by top chauffeurs in the likes of Alain Bergeron, Jeff Cook, Michael Parent, Tim Kelly, Tommy Wickham, Cory Sparks, Jason Barney, Mike Stelter, Chris Coyle, Ryan Bohlke, Adam Gordon and many more.

Herrington Farms/Car Mate Custom Built Trailers $100 to win heats will kick off the action followed by the Herrington Farms/Walt’s Hobby Dash and the KSE Racing Products B-Main. All that will lead up to the Dick Spadaro Early Ford Reproductions A-Main that pays a cool $2,000 to the winner of the 25 lap finale.

September 5th, 1987 is when Lonny Riehlman took the checkered flag in the lone appearance buy ESS. Now, the Lucas Oil backed tour is making its long awaited return. Lebanon Valley…Are you ready for some excitement guaranteed!
