KARTERS ADD TO IMPRESSIVE WINS STREAKS AT MERRITTVILLE

Thorold, Ontario (September 3) – The Kart Summer Series and Season at Merrittville Speedway has come down to one final week.
In the 9 events run to date – a number of drivers have earned some impressive win totals – the most notable - James Moll who made it nine in a row in the Ed MacPherson Construction Junior 2 Division – remaining undefeated.
Jacob Lutz won his 8th RCM Racing Equipment Cassell Manufacturing Junior 1 Feature of the second half of the season.
In other Original Pizza Logs Divisional Action, three drivers ran to their sixth wins as well – Cierra Black, Dylan Davidson and Blake Priestley in the Drummond Home Hardware Garden City Auto Complex Novice 1, KC Auto Parts Novice 2 and Philbrick Farm & Garden Equipment Senior Medium Divisions.
Connor Mooradian rounded out the September 2nd winners – earning his 5th Superior PetroFuels Junior Restricted Heavy Feature.
Although still running with the Senior Mediums, Mike Journeaux was credited with first place points in the PartSource Masters Division.
The 2008 Kart Racing Season concludes Tuesday September 2nd. Gates open at 5:00 with racing beginning at 7:00. Grandstand admission is free.
