Persistent Mist Postpones Brockville 171
BROCKVILLE-A persistent mist that would have kept the track tacky, but would have driven competitors to distraction due to reduced visability, has resulted in the postponement of the racing program at Brockville Ontario Speedway Saturday. The Jack May-BOB FM show will not be lost for local fans as the event has already been rescheduled for next Friday night, September 12th at 7pm. Next Friday's show will be strictly 358 Modifieds on the menu. In addition to the 75 lap Super DIRT Series event, the final 96 laps of the rain delayed Canadian DIRT Challenge Series will be run for 171 laps of Modified Mania nest Friday night on the fast clay oval. The Lucas Oil Series event had Dany Bilodeau in the lead back in August when the weather man struck. Brockville Ontario Speedway will also go ahead with it's original schedule for Saturday night, September 13th at 7pm to make it a weekend twin bill. Saturday night features the always popular Modified run what u brung event in addition to a pair of Sportsman features including a rain delayed 30 lapper from back in August as well as the other regular classes in action. |
