SPORTSMAN CARS TO RACE FOR ADDED INCENTIVES AS PART OF THE LYLE SHERWOOD MEMORIAL T3 ALL STAR SERIES EVENT AT THE WOODHULL RACEWAY.
Mini Stocks also added to the September 13 schedule of events including the T3 All Star 358 Modifieds, BRP Can Am 360 Late Models and a Street Stock Open.
(Woodhull, NY) The September 13, 2008 T3 All Star Series for 358 Modifieds presented by Troyer Race Cars event at the Woodhull has just taken on a whole new meaning for the Sportsman Division as Woodhull Raceway owner, Vern Wasson has announced an added incentive program for any Sportsman legal car that wants to try and make the field for next weeks Lyle Sherwood T3 All Star Series event.
Every Sportsman Car that makes the 24 car 30 lap feature event will receive an additional $100 on top of their feature finish pay. The highest finishing Sportsman Car will receive an added $300 on top of their regular feature finishing pay making it a potentially big pay day for any Sportsman machine just qualifying for the prestigious Lyle Sherwood event.
The winner of the 4th Annual Lyle Sherwood T3 All Star Series feature event will walk away with a cool $1,250 with it paying $125 just to take the green in the 30 lap main event. Any drivers that fail to qualify weather they are a full blown 358 or a Sportsman will receive $60 tow money.
The current T3 All Star Series for 358 Modifieds presented by Troyer Race Cars rules package will apply for the event and can be found on the web at www.t3allstarseries.com.
It was also announced by Woodhull Raceway owner, Vern Wasson that the Mini Stock Division has also been added to the September 13 event along with the T3 All Star 358 Modifieds, the BRP Can Am Super Stocks as well as the Open Street Stock Classes.
Gates for the September 13 event open at 4:30 with racing at 6:30 and a Sunday Sept. 14 rain date has already been built into the schedule with gates opening at 2:30 and racing at 4:30.
