September 21, 2008 Povoski triumphs at Woodhull, Buckley claims 2008 Regional Pro Truck Championship.Woodhull NY- Bob Teed Sr. was all smiles Saturday night as Doug Hap Buckley pulled the #2 Teed Chassis Dodge into their pit after the season closer at Woodhull Raceway. The team Struggled through 2007 with engine failures and a host of problems fighting them at every turn. But the group rebounded in 2008 to bring home 3 feature wins a host of top 5s to prove once again, they have the stuff Champions are made of. Congratulations to everyone at Teed Chassis. Terry Povoski was unsure of his plans early in the week to make the haul to Woodhull Raceway, the famed high bank 3/8 mile clay track located in central NY. I never seem to do well there. He told us. However, the number 4 was able to hit his marks on a gorgeous Saturday night and finally conquer the track he has struggled with in the past. This makes Povoski the only driver so far to win at every track he has raced at on the tour. Burgess Family Racing Rookie of the Year Title will be awarded to Jamie Freeman(8) . Jamie was a late entry to the Tour, with the help and support of several teams, and some behind the scenes people was ale to secure a ride just as the season was beginning. It has been a huge adjustment from the FWD division. These trucks are so fun to drive.
