Mitchell Wins AMP At CAS, Preps For Topless 40
(Texarkana, Texas) The "Catman" Jon Mitchell once again powered his Black, Silver, and Red #5 GRT By Catman Super Late Model into Victory Lane, when he won Saturday night's AMP Series sanctioned race at Central Arkansas Speedway. This win helped Mitchell, the series defending points champion, to add to his current points lead.
"I felt good about the car before we left the shop." said Mitchell after his win "We swapped over to a new chassis this past week, so we went through everything real good to make sure everything was good to go, and things just fell into place once we got to the track. This was a big win for us, and will help up in the points standings."
Mitchell plans on racing his Black, Silver, and Red #5 GRT By Catman Open Wheel Modified in this weekend's "Show Me Whatcha Got" Topless 40 at Central Arkansas Speedway on September 26-27, 2008. This is a $4000 to win event.
Mitchell will also be selling his T-Shirts at a special price of $10 a shirt this weekend, regardless of color, or size of the shirt.
"I just want to show the fans some appreciation for supporting me this year, and we had a good response when we sold them last week at CAS, so all of my shirts will be $10 again this weekend." said Mitchell.
