Sarver, PA (September 24, 2008) In looking forward to the Y108 Thrillbilly Country Bash, the Lernerville Speedway is conducting two contests to give fans a chance to get even more for their money! The first contest, which went out to our Lernerville.com email subscribers, began last week and several entries have already been submitted! The contest involves finding, then taking a picture with a Y108 Thrillbilly Country Bash Poster and sending it to Y108Thrillbilly@yahoo.com. The other contest is just a few clicks away! Log on to www.Lernerville.com, click on the “Enter to Win!” link. On the “Enter to Win!” page, you will be asked how you like to “Holler Back!”
The winner of the Y108 Thrillbilly Country Bash Poster Photo Contest will get a FREE ride on the AmeriCrush Monster Truck Ride. Anyone may enter; however, minors must be accompanied by an adult on the ride! Photos can be sent from any digital camera via email or directly from your camera phone to Y108Thrillbilly@yahoo.com.
The winner of the “Holler Back!” contest will get to go back stage to meet the fastest rising act in country music today; The Lost Trailers. Again, to enter this contest, you simply log in to www.Lernerville.com, click on the “Enter to Win!” link and tell us how you like to “Holler Back!” You must be 18 to enter the “Holler Back!” contest and be sure to enter your name and a telephone number or email address where you can be contacted!
Submissions for both contests must be received by Wednesday October 1 at 4:00PM. These contests only include the perks of a FREE ride on AmeriCrush and/or going backstage to meet The Lost Trailers. Winning either contest DOES NOT get you into the Y108 Thrillbilly Country Bash for free! Contest winners must purchase a Y108 Thrillbilly Country Bash ticket in order to claim their prize!
Ticket prices are $20 for adults, $10 for children 5-15 years old, and FREE for children 4 and under! Seating is first come first serve the day of the event. Gates will open at 3:00 with the first act (Sarah Marince) taking the stage at 4:00PM. The Monster Trucks Warrior and AfterShock will take to the track between the first three acts (Sarah Marince, NOMad and Chris Higbee Project). Then the Lost Trailers and Grammy Award Winning LeeAnn Womack will take the stage. A thrilling fireworks display by Premier Pyrotechnics (You’ve never seen fireworks like this!!) will light up the sky after Ms. Womack performs. After the fireworks display, stick around and join us for a huge bonfire to close the 40th Anniversary Season of Don Martin’s Lernerville Speedway!
Tickets are on sale now at www.Lernerville.com; by phone Monday-Friday 9AM-4PM at (724) 353-1511; by stopping at the speedway office along Route 356 in Sarver during normal business hours, or at the gate the day of the event.
