Brushcreek Motorsports Set to Wrap up 2008 Season with $5,000 to win Late Models (Peebles, Ohio) After sitting idle the last couple weeks action returns to the 1/3 mile speed plant 3 miles south of Peebles, Ohio with the running of the Billy Bob Race. The final race of the 2008 season will see the late model feature winner taking home $5,000 and a three year Billy Bob provisional, should he be unable to race his way into the Billy Bob in any of the next three years following his Billy Bob feature win. The region's top dirt late model racers will remove their tops for the running of the $5,000 to win, $500 to start Billy Bob race, making it the first topless event in Brushcreek Motorsports history. The term "topless" refers to the fact that the dirt late model will compete without its top, giving fans a better view of the drivers as they navigate the 1/3 mile speed plant. To date the competitive late model division has seen 13 feature events contested on the high banks during the '08 season, with ten different drivers visiting victory lane. Other activities include a Billy bob look a like contest for cash prize. Pit gate opens at 4:00 P.M. General Admission gate opens at 5:00 P.M. Pill Draw stops at 6:15 Drivers Meeting at 6:30. Raceivers for Late Models are a must.
