Sarver, PA (September 30, 2008) Hard as it may seem to believe, September is over! That means the Y108 Thrillbilly Country Bash is just a few away! This Saturday Night October 4 the Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, PA will be the center of family fun in Western Pennsylvania as five acts take the stage for a concert worthy of the name Y108 Thrillbilly Country Bash. Between acts, fans will be treated to a Monster Truck show with AfterShock and Warrior. Fans will also be able to take a ride on one of these jacked up, power-packed beasts as the AmeriCrush ride-along Monster Truck will be on hand to give fans a once in a lifetime thrill! The show will wrap up with an awesome fireworks display by Premier Pyrotechnics and a huge bonfire!

Also performing Saturday will be Y108/Kenny Chesney “Next Big Star” winner NOMaD. NOMaD is no stranger to Lernerville Speedway, as the band has performed during Firecracker Weekend each of the last two seasons. Following NOMaD will be another well known local act the; Chris Higbee Project. Chris Higbee was the founder of the popular Povertyneck Hillbillies who burst onto the scene in 2006 with their smash hit “Mr. Right Now!” The Povertyneck Hillbillies are no longer together, but Higbee continues to perform with this current “Project”.

After the three local acts warm up the crowd, one of the hottest bands in country music, The Lost Trailers, will take the stage to rock out their breakout hit “Holler Back!” The Lost Trailers’ “Holler Back” held the #10 spot this week in the ACC Top 40 and their recently released album of the same title, debuted at #5 on the Billboard Country Album chart. Their rise to fame also landed them a coveted interview on a recent episode of Access Hollywood.

LeeAnn Womack will be the featured star of the evening. Womack’s resume includes a two Grammy Awards, as well as multiple ACM and CMA Awards and the crossover smash hit “I Hope You Dance”. She also has a new album in the works that is due to hit shelves on Tuesday October 21.

Two contests are currently being run to provide fans with some extra perks on Saturday evening. The first is a Y108 Thrillbilly Country Bash Poster Contest which will get one lucky fan a free ride on AmeriCrush. The second is The Lost Trailers/Holler Back! Contest. Log on to www.Lernerville.com for more details and register to win! Both contests have been extended until Friday October 3 at 12 Noon. These contests only include the perks of a FREE ride on AmeriCrush and/or going backstage to meet The Lost Trailers. Winning either contest DOES NOT get you into the Y108 Thrillbilly Country Bash for free! Contest winners must purchase a Y108 Thrillbilly Country Bash ticket in order to claim their prize!

Ticket prices are $20 for adults, $10 for children 5-15 years old, and FREE for children 4 and under! Seating is first come first serve the day of the event. Gates will open at 3:00 and Sarah Marince will kick off the show at 4:00PM.
