CHRIS COYLE EARNS BPG & CHAD SINON THEIR FIRST CAREER URC SPRINT WIN
SATURDAY NIGHT AT NEW EGYPT

Chris Coyle of Wilmington, DE scored his first win of the season and his
eighth career Rislone URC Sprint victory Saturday night at the New Egypt
Speedway. The win for Coyle did earn his major sponsor, Chad Sinon/BPG
Racing his first career sprint car victory. Coyle took the lead on lap
fourteen after a hard fought battle with Dave Ely and went on to pocket
the $2,200 first prize payoff. CnB Mushrooms posted a $200 bonus payoff
for the winner on Fred's Trailer Parts Night at New Egypt.

A strong field of thirty-seven sprint cars turned out for the
twenty-second show of the Rislone URC Sprint Series. Four heat race
events were presented with victories going to Jeff VanDusan, Kevin
Darling, Chris Coyle and Dave Ely as Joey Biasi won the Don Ott "B"
Main. $250 went to the winner of the "B" main courtesy of CnB Mushrooms
and Don Ott Racing Engines.

At the start of the twenty-five lap feature event, pole sitter Kevin
Darling spun when entering turn one, immediately displaying the yellow
flag. On the restart, Dave Ely charged to the point and set the pace
for the first three laps. On lap four, the red flag was displayed when
the "Jersey Jet" JJ Grasso made hard contact with the first turn wall
and flipped violently, taking Rory Janney and Davey Sammons along in the
crash. All drivers walked away uninjured but the sprint car of JJ
Grasso was badly damaged and unable to continue. Grasso was looking for
his fifth consecutive win at New Egypt.

On the restart, Ely remained the pace setter with Chris Coyle and Jeff
VanDusan close in the chase. By lap six, Coyle was in a heated battle
with Ely for the lead. Ely and Coyle ran side-by-side until the caution
was displayed on lap twelve when Davey Sammons spun in turn four.

With the green flag waiving, Ely continued to set the pace as the field
passed for the halfway sign. At this point, Ely was the leader followed
by Chris Coyle, Kramer Williamson, Trevor Lewis (who started thirteenth)
and Jeff VanDusan.

Charging off of turn four on lap fifteen, Chris Coyle powered into the
lead with Ely dropping to second. On lap nineteen, Becca Anderson spun
in turn three and the yellow was displayed once again.

On the restart, the red flag was displayed before a lap was completed
when Joey Biasi took a wicked tumble in the first turn. Biasi did walk
away uninjured.

The field re-grouped once again and Coyle continued to set the pace at
the drop of the green flag. With five laps remaining, Coyle set the
pace but now Trevor Lewis was second and chasing down the leader. With
each lap, Lewis inched in closer to Coyle and with just two laps
remaining, only three car lengths separated the first and second place
cars.

For the final two laps, Coyle maintained his lead and took the checker
flag and his first victory of 2008. Trevor Lewis finished second
followed by Dave Ely, Kramer Williamson and Ed Aikin. Jeff VanDusan
finished sixth followed by Michael Carber, Curt Michael (who started
eighteenth), Kyle Purks and Kevin Welsh.
