RISLONE SPRINT SERIES, SPRINT CAR CHALLENGE SET FOR ROLLING WHEELS
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 11
The Sprint Car Challenge sanctioned by URC (United Racing Company) will
invade the Rolling Wheels Raceway on Saturday night, October 11. A
field of more then fifty sprint cars is expected to take part in this
show that will pay $3,000 to the winner of the 25 lap Sprint Car
Challenge. Rislone, Owasco Beverages and the Summit Automotive Group
are sponsors of this big night of sprint car racing the five-eighth mile
Rolling Wheels Raceway in Elbridge, NY. Joining the popular 360 sprints
on the program will be the CRSA Sprints, competing in a series of
qualifying events leading up to the RaceSaver 25 for the CRSA sprints.
Gates open 3 PM and race time is set for 7 PM. The rain date for this
event is Sunday night, October 12.
For the URC Sprint Car Challenge, there will be an open draw to
determine the line-up for the expected six qualifying heats followed by
three "B" main events. The twenty-five lap feature will pay $3,000 to
the winner, $1,600, $1,100 for third, $800 four fourth and $700 to
finish fifth. Twenty-four cars will start the event win a minimum of
$250 be paid just to start the main event.
