PENN CAN SPEEDWAY FORCED TO RESCHEDULE AGAIN

Susquehanna, PA…The King of the Can finale has been a very tough race to get in the books. Unfortunately the weather has not cooperated again and the race will have to be rescheduled for a third time. Tonight’s racing has been rescheduled for this Sunday October 5th. Gates will open at 1:00with hot laps at 2:15 . The first heat will take to the speedway at 3:00 .

“The forecast for tonight looked like we might have a shot to get this race in the books,” explains Reed Miller. “Unfortunately when we arrived at the track this morning the rains were still coming down. After checking track conditions, we determined that there was no way we would be able to dry out the racing surface. Sunday’s forecast is much better so the decision was to use another rain date.”

All of the divisions originally scheduled will be racing on Sunday. The late models, super stocks, pure stocks, and 4 cylinders will all race in their King of the Can events. The CRSA Sprints and Xcel 600 modifieds will also be in competition.
