A Simple "Thank You" From Sharon Speedway
Hartford, OH October 3, 2008 The 2008 racing season at the Sharon Speedway is now complete. The roar of the motors and a pit area full of activity are but a memory. The "gentle giants" of the racing world have gone into hibernation for the next several months. As the days get shorter and our thoughts turn to Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas the management of Sharon Speedway would like to take a few moments to extend a sincere "Thank You" to the competitors, car owners, fans and marketing partners who supported the speedway in 2008.
There may only be a few teams that are able to enjoy the spotlight in the Hovis Auto and Truck Supply Victory Lane each Saturday evening however every competitor is a winner in our eyes. In 2008 there were 225 drivers that competed in our weekly events. In spite of rising fuel costs and threatening weather drivers from Pennsylvania, Ohio, New York, New Jersey, Illinois and even Australia made the trek to Hartford, OH each Saturday afternoon to provide our fans with top notch racing action. The countless hours that each of you spend in the garage preparing for competition are often overlooked; we sincerely appreciate you commitment to the sport/hobby that we all love and we applaud you for it. In addition the sacrifices that each of your families and friends make as they assist in your quest for that elusive Checkered Flag are the bonds that make racing friendships even stronger. "Thank You" for your dedication!!
The sponsors/marketing partners are also an important element in the equation that spells success for Sharon Speedway. Your support of the speedway is a very affordable and cost effective marketing partnership that places your name before several thousand potential consumers each week. Your support of Sharon Speedway not only propels your firm to the forefront but it also provides the speedway with the opportunity to introduce your employees and business associates to the excitement of short track auto racing "Sharon Speedway Style."
