World of Outlaws Opener at Hollywood Hills Falls to Rain.
San Felipe Pueblo, NM October 11, 2008The Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series event originally scheduled for tonight (Saturday, October 11) at Hollywood Hills Speedway in San Felipe Pueblo, New Mexico has been cancelled due to rain and will not be rescheduled. The event now becomes a one-day show on Sunday, October 12 with heat races set for 6 p.m. Mountain.
Heading into the weekend, two-time defending Advance Auto Parts World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series champion Donny Schatz has a 123 point lead over Jason Meyers in the championship standings.
Steve Kinser, the 20-time World of Outlaws champion, will look to extend his win streak at Hollywood Hills Speedway to eight on Sunday.
