MEYERS SCORES CAREER BEST 45TH TOP 5

Clovis, CA (October 13, 2008)
Hollywood Hills, New Mexico- Jason Meyers and the Elite Racing team left Minnesota last week for the 1400 mile hike to San Felipe, NM with hopes of a win. A two night venue was interrupted by Mother Nature Saturday afternoon forcing the cancellation of the nights show. Racing action for the Elite Racing team would have to wait until Sunday night.

Meyers started the night qualifying 9th amid a field of 41 competitors putting him on the front row of his heat race where he finished 2nd earning him a spot in the Crane Cams Dash. Meyers would line up 4th in the Crane Cams Dash, "We had a great start in the dash, taking the lead on the first lap only to see the caution flag wave, which would spoil the entire night," said Meyers. Jason would cross the line in 6th place. Starting 6th in the nights feature event, Meyers passed Daryn Pittman for the 5th position on lap one and then settled in behind Steve Kinser for the remaining 29 laps as the track laid rubber immediately. Meyers would bring the GLR Investments, DDNi, KPC Chassis to a 5th place finish at the checkered flag, setting a career best 45th top 5 finish.
