2 Car Team for Big Moose Racing
Mikey Kruchka will stay in his familiar Big Moose Racing #01, while former World of Outlaws Crew Chief Kevin Loveys will return home to Southern Ontario and drive the Big Moose Racing #18 on Friday nights.
After a successful rookie season in 2008 with Mikey behind the wheel, Owners Dean & Brenda Richardson decided turn up the heat for 2009. "We convinced Kevin to help us go faster and show us what he’s got too." Explained owner Dean Richardson. "The team may be new, but the chemistry is already there."
Starting back in 2005, before they were drivers, Loveys and Kruchka travelled as a crew for hire with various sprint teams including World of Outlaw driver Jeremy Campbell. The Duo also had a hand in wins for Glenn Styres, Jessica Zemken, and Chad Kemenah.
"Dean and Brenda are serious about this deal" said Loveys. "They have Given us an amazing opportunity to show what we can do." "The plan is to make a full out assault on the CorrPak Sprints at Ohsweken and hit selected shows in the North East." Added Mikey who was the Most Improved Driver in 2008 at Ohsweken. In the off season the team picked up a new trailer, 2 complete rollers, and beefed up the engine program.
In 2008, the on-line world was introduced to Mikey Kruchka and The Big Moose Racing team through the JAC-M-UP Show. This online reality show let viewers tag along with Mikey and the BMR team as they raced through their rookie year in a 360 Sprint Car.

In the seventh episode, we follow the Mikey as he gets more comfortable behind the wheel, picks up a qualifying win, and takes us out to the team shop.
