BIG MOOSE RACING Announces Full Schedule of Racing For 2009 With Double The Excitement…Literally!
Big Moose Racing, a locally owned sprint car racing team, is having a Media Day located at 1101 Hwy #54, Ohsweken, ON on Saturday, April 11 starting at 12 noon. This day is being used to introduce their ‘new’ race team for 2009.
Big Moose Racing was started by Dean and Brenda Richardson in 2008 and featured a local race driver from Hamilton, Mikey Kruchka. After finishing 2008 with a fine rookie year, they have gone ahead with the addition of a new driver, Kevin Loveys, also a local from Hamilton. Both the drivers have spent time in the World of Outlaws Sprint circuit and have now brought their knowledge and enthusiasm back to Southern Ontario.
By acquiring a new race hauler, enclosed trailer, two more sprint racers and a lot more help, Big Moose Racing have literally doubled in size and are hoping to do the same with wins at the checkered flag. They will be hitting most of the Southern Ontario race tracks including Merrittville, Ohsweken, South Buxton and Ransonville, NY.
