Saratoga Springs, NY - Moore Racing continued their 2009 season at the Fonda Speedway Saturday night, despite another attempt by Mother Nature to wash it out. A veteran of 18 years behind the wheel, Randy Moore started the 12 lap Street Stock feature in the fourth position. On lap one the skies opened up, causing a 90 minute delay.
When racing resumed Randy was second however, however quickly closing on leader Cassidy Wilson. Moore took the lead on lap two and looked strong – looking for career win number 13. He would lead until lap four when Wilson would get back by, forcing Moore to second. In the end Randy would run a steady race, finishing in the fourth position.
Sponsorship for the 2009 racing season will come from Brass Eye Center, Jay’s Auto Repair, Steph’s Greenhouse, Karla Foxvog Insurance, Salem Taver and BNC Motorsports.
The Moore Racing Team will be back in action this Saturday night at the Fonda Speedway.
