Gloversville, NY - Howard Smith persevered Saturday night at the Fonda Speedway. The IMCA Modified driver was involved in two incidents, one each in his heat race and the feature event.
Smith would come home tenth in the heat race following the spin. Come feature time he would start tenth and despite the late race incident finished ninth.
For the 2009 season the team will receive sponsorship support from the following loyal area businesses: Project Action, Reality Check, Fultonville’s Am-Best Truck Stop, Mohawk Valley Pest Control, Abdella Law Offices, White Holland Restaurant, Books Etc. and the Sawdust Café.
The Smith Motorsports Team will be back in action this Saturday night at the Fonda Speedway looking for another consistent finish. |
