I was at Wayne County Speedway
before they had the stands built. I was in an infant carseat, and when the first
heat race started, I leaned forward to see what all the noise was and the whole
thing flipped forward and down the hill I went on my forehead. There was no hope
after that.
I grew up at Wayne County and Barberton, sometimes visiting the other area
tracks. Before I got married I ran street stocks and had some success. Now I'm
back to just watching (and now, writing).
I've worked at 16 different race tracks, in either fire/rescue, or EMS. I'm also
the director of the longest running internet racing series. I enjoy almost any
form of racing, but dirt track is where my heart is. I look forward to meeting
more people and seeing more races, and reporting it all to the fans.
