Danica will be driving a dirt late model at Eldora. Pretty cool that she is willing to attempt this knowing that she will be the focal point. I dont think she will do very well but I give her credit for trying! I honestly think she will have more pressure here than any other race she has done.

Danica will be in the way at the Prelude, but she sells T-shirts, Tickets, and Pay-Per-View subscriptions, so I don't blame Tony one bit...

Danica is a indycar/high grip car racer, not a dirt driver, im not sure she has ever even driven a dirt car of any type

I would like to see something in the prelude like take the WoO sprint, late model, and sds champions take a tony stewart racing car out for the prelude

But that would totally defeat the whole purpose to have active dirt track "ringers" in the event. The whole purpose of the Prelude, and the reason it draws the crowd and PPVs it does is because the event is NASCAR drivers (and a few other thrown in) that never or rarely race on dirt doing just that. Putting guys like a Donny Schatz or a Josh Richards in the event would ruin what the race is. After all, a fan can go watch those guys race on dirt every week of the year.

The advertising for the race seems about right -- a Daytona 500 winner and a Sprint Cup champion each getting smaller billing than Danica.

Custom Bob no doubt on the phone as we speak ordering the PPV.

Jases what next!!!
Maybe if she hurries she can get her name on the Presidental Ballot this September.
She'd probably win. Bout the only thing she can win. :wallbash:

I wouldn't waste my money to see this hog show. There turning this Princess Danica thing into a traveling road show like the WWE.
Hope they have back up cars for her.
When's she making a Northeast Dirt Modified Tour?

Dude, thats just funny. lol

I say put Danica and Juan Pablo on the front row and see how many packer trucks they can clean out before the green flag. No? lol

Agree 100% with Mr. Rail and Mr. GT. Here's why she sells t-shirts (look below lol)

Now if she wan't to be a model, great, i'm all for it, as many fella's love those too. Just hope she doesn't turn into another Anna Kornikova. (all photo shoot, no talent, never won much at Tennis, over hyped, and now doesn't even play the sport, just a lovely model)

If she can compete and win then rock that swimsuit, because she would be able to say "not only am I hot, but I win." This is what I learned most female drivers want anyway, to be known for their success on the track and not their photo shoots off it. If a lady can do both, oh goodness I'm instantly a fan! lol :w00t:

Moving on to a much more entertaining topic...pick one, any one is better than another Danica topic. That's undeniable... :w00t:

PS..Custom, if you're going to be the president of her fan club, use this photo instead. You'll gain members. lol

I'm sure I'm in the minority when I say this, but is anyone else even a little bit disappointed in Stewart? From Day 1 that guy has been a no BS racer, and has seemed to not care so much about being politically correct as wanting to do whatever it took to win. People compare him to AJ Foyt with his versatility on the track as well as his demeanor and attitude off it. So for him to jump on this publicity bandwagon and 'sell out' to the Danica pimping is pretty much the opposite of what he has been about his whole career. I can see somebody like Michael Waltrip bowing down to her and sticking her on HIS circus poster, but not Tony. I read one columnist years ago who said Michael was so far up NASCAR's ass that if they came out with Poop-sicles he'd be the first one in line to tell everyone how great they tasted. Can you imagine Foyt saying - with a straight face - that he's hiring Danica because he believes in her talent??

Funny how a lot of these guys say that money doesn't matter to them until they see a chance to make a whole bunch of it by doing something you'd never expect to see tham do.

Actually, Custom, wouldn't that combine two of your favorite subjects into one easy to keep track of handy topic -- Danica vows $8 a gallon gas by the summer of 2013. <_<

Touching on Chris Akulis' post and Bob Miller's reply, I know this is a touchy subject on this board. But given Tony's recent history with his drivers, the  is probably best.

WRT Foyt, I don't know that employing Danica and saying she is brimming with talent would really be all that much different than drivers like Shigeaki Hattori or Fredrik Ekblom or Gregor Foitek who have previously sat in his cars.
