This created one hell of a buzz inside the Center of Progress building today. The NE Dirt Mod world was turned upside down this morning. Im very curious to see how this plays out in the next few weeks! Im not sure how the new owner plans to put asses in the seats for so many "Specials"?? Very big aspirations, I hope he has the same size bank account.

So, we had one Sunday night track and now we have three (even though the Wheels is every other week). I'll let the experts guess where the drivers are going to be on April 27 (which btw is opening night at all 3 tracks).

Talk about the new guy at the Wheels firing a shot across the bow.

Makes me wonder what admission price will be for the Aug10 & other big paying races there.

I would expect it to be steep but then again it should be. It's the 2nd highest winning payoff for the Modifieds  with huge amounts for the Sprints and Sportsman thrown in. Is there anyone else in the northeast paying 20K to win a 360 race or 10K to win a Sportsman race?

Talk about throwing a wrench in a gearbox. I dont really see how this will work out now that there will be 3 tracks running on Sunday nights. If they all start the same night, who will go for the money every other week at RWR and who will go for the points titles every week at Glen Ridge and U-R? I wonder if RWR is still going to be DIRT sanctioned? I wonder if they will use the points there for home DIRT points?

Get some popcorn, I think this could get good.

I wasn't able to attend the show today due to a prior commitment but will be there tomorrow. I was told about this first thing this am when the show opened. I just find it very hard to believe that no one leaked a word of this out or even the potential of anything happening with Rolling Wheels. Come on someone must have known something....and we all know with news this big someone was gonna spill the beans.. I do hope that it is true cause if that's the case I know where I will beon some of my Sunday afternoons....

They are Dirtcar and you can get hometrack points.

Oh, I forgot, they are also paying 12K to win for the Mods on Sun May 25, 10K to win for the mods on Sun Jul 6,  and 8K to win for the mods on Sun Aug 31 to go with the 10K on 4/27 and 30K on 8/10.

I checked the calendar, today is not April 1.
