I do laugh though in the irony of it all; you have absolutely no fear of Covid based on what, I don’t know, but on the other hand you are sceptical/worried about the vaccine. Do you not see that as running counter whatsoever?

There is nothing “normal” about a mandatory showing of a vaccination ID in order to enter anywhere!!! 🤦🏽‍♂️🤦🏽‍♂️

The vaccines people receive as a young child such as for the measles, mumps or chicken pox, prevent you from ever getting them. And there’s decades of proof that they’re effective. This Government con

I think you're on to something here, let's apply the same standard to racing safety. who needs seat belts? People still die. who needs roll cages? People still die. Who need fuel cells?

I try to stay out of these goofball go nowhere arguments but people have been going to the race track without masks and vaccines for a year now everywhere but New York and it’s been just fine. No sudden nosedive in attendance due to covid deaths. No brawls between people acting out Facebook arguments in real life. Nobody calling the small percentage that choose to wear masks names, no people recording people not wearing masks accusing them of killing their nana. Just people living their lives and enjoying the race track. Get off the internet and re-enter reality, the water is fine.

THANK YOU SO MUCH.   Somebody gets it👍

I have been out in public 6 out of 7 days  before Covid and ever since

Been to a dozen or so races last year.  5 so far this year.  Some of them in NY

I put on a  mask only when I know I will be refused service

I also know several people who have tested 'positive' for Covid.   None too worse for the wear.  Most  of them go to work every day.   After they did their 'time' of  course 🙄

Go outside.  Attend events.  Get off the freakin boob tube

Quit eating shtt

No, that’s not true. I’ve only ever advocated for a level playing field so you’re reaching and generalizing.

Take your business elsewhere if the 10 minute rapid test is too much for you to handle.

Businesses are allowed to make rules for entry, especially rules that protect their employees.

My mother shouldn't have to be retested. She's had both of her Moderna shots, and can technically move about without a mask because Cuomo said she could.

I couldn’t imagine trying to rationalize this. I couldn’t imagine this being the hill someone wants to die upon. A flag that represents slavery and treason. That demonstrates exclusion, intolerance and the oppression of other human beings. A flag that many of your forefathers fought so valiantly to retire. Unreal.

The confederate flag holds no spot in my heart. I loved the dukes of hazard, but besides the flag being on that car, I don’t care if it flys anywhere. My point is that flag was racist, monuments and statues are racist, John Wayne was a racist,  “master bedroom” is racist, dr. Seuss is a racist, college names, songs, maple syrup....the list goes on and on and will for as long as people continue to cave to these ludicrous claims.  Some people refuse to budge and in a lot of ways I don’t blame them because of the avalanche of shit that follows.

I went to over 40 races last year. I’m already near 15 this year. I got covid in January working with 3 other people in a good size body shop where I wear Ppe most of the day painting cars. Idk that there’s any kind of moral to the story other than it doesn’t matter where, when, or who. If you’re gonna get it, you’re gonna get it. 🤷🏻‍♂️ idk. I’m gonna live my life. If my numbers up, my numbers up. The best advice I can give is quit trying to make everything political, log off Facebook, turn the tv off, and make choices that best fit your family and allow others to do the same.

Cuomo never said that vaccinated people can enter businesses without a mask or testing when the business has chosen to require a mask and testing for service.

I am fully vaccinated, plus I have been tested twice since then.  It takes 10 minutes and its just a q tip up your nose. Results are back in a few minutes.

You have every right to not frequent businesses that require vaccinations or testing.

Every doctor's office that I have been to in the last 6 months has checked my forehead temperature before entry.

You get tested on the forehead before they will give you a vaccine as well.

I feel the same way. That's the problem these days. I came on here months ago to try and share my opinion that using the n-word is just something white people shouldn't do and everyone assumed that I was some snowflake socialist liberal. Not realizing I've never voted for a Democrat for president, voted for Trump the first time, and because I didn't approve of his way of leadership for our country, I decided to vote for the Libertarian Jorgensen in the most recent election because I also didn't want our current President. Hopefully some day we can figure out that everything doesn't have to be one or the other, there's lots of middle ground on lots of issues. And you can share opinions on certain issues, while disagreeing on others.

With that being said, I'm very excited to go to more races this summer, hope to see you all out there.

Seen a lot of people spending more money on a hobby than you probably make a year. Kind of like the Trump boat parades......hundreds of trailer trash rednecks in 50-500k boats....lol

A lot of those boats sank. And a lot of those wealthy people need to be audited for the bogus write-offs they rip the government and country off for. Never mind the people on welfare... that money is peanuts. Time to crack down on the tax fraud committed by the business owners like the ones who bankrupt their business after milking their creditors dry. They run off with the banks money thanks to loopholes created by the GOP conservatives.  There was one guy who bankrupted his casinos after putting his family on the payroll before sucking the business dry. IRS needs to investigate these crooks!

I look at many of these things as enhanced awareness and our evolution as a society. This may sound like a hot take but I don’t regard Washington as a racist based on his actions 250-275 years ago. Colonial Virginia is a far cry from 2021 though. Nobody ought to reasonably think the bondage of another to be an acceptable practice today. My mother, a god fearing, church going woman who wouldn’t curse if her life depended on it and who would take an add out in the paper if she found a nickel that she didn’t think belonged to her used to, as a little girl, refer to black candies as N****R babies. Do I think she’s racist, no. Would she dare say that word today, absolutely not. So yeah, things like Chief Wahoo, the Indians mascot, probably isn’t a good thing. It’s not about going back and reimagining history, it’s about evolving. I don’t think that’s necessarily a bad thing. After all, isn’t it the goal to leave things better off than when you started? I don’t know why this would scare someone. I don’t care about the term master bedroom but it also doesn’t bother me if things evolve in my lifetime and some imagines and/or terms are laid to rest.

It’s funny that you think all business owners are crooks. That’s the liberal way....when someone else has done well for themselves they stole it or screwed over everyone to get it. Someday maybe you will realize some people work hard, take some chances and make it. Those people have a hard time handing it out to those too lazy to work but have all the ambition in the world when it comes to protesting and complaining.

I’m happy that I could give you some form of joy in life. Now I sit back and laugh at the president you elected and the disaster he is each time he opens his mouth. It brings me joy knowing that all of his supporters will not be in any better position after his term than before, and that the squeeze his policies will put on much of his base won’t really affect me whatsoever.

You obviously have been bullshitting us all if thats the case.  According to your past posts, you will be paying more taxes soon thanks to Biden. But now you claim his policies wont affect you. So you dont really make the money you try to portray you do. Lol.  Busted! Lol.

I’ve never stated what I make but I do just fine, and whatever taxes I pay won’t change my life. Annoy me, yes, but the customers pay the difference that’s all. The thought of that money going to countries for gender reassignment therapy, or to illegals that don’t belong here, or the 35 year old lazy piece of shit who has never worked because of a bad back or stress.....is what completely sickens me. But financially, It’s Just like Dunkin’ Donuts, make em pay 15 bucks an hour.....pay 5 bucks for a coffee. Dunkin will do just fine as well. This is what most don’t understand, shit rolls down hill, when the government costs businesses more money, that gets passed to the consumer, and people can’t stop living, so they have to pay it. Your wages don’t go up, just the cost of living.

But as far as his tax plan is concerned ....good accountants cost good money.

It really sounds like you're in the middle and a fair person.  I consider myself in the middle only because I think people on the far left and right sides take stuff way too far.  Something I will never forget that I learned in high school.  It's really not a straight line of left and right - but more a circle and the more I see today - the more it is true.  These people are so true to their beliefs that they actually share a lot of the same behaviors and habits.  So I saw in the news the family is suing the Capitol Police for shooting their daughter for I think 10 million dollars.  I mean, why does the family think climbing thru a window is ok of the Capitol building.  Were they supposed to hold her hand and ask if she needed a beer?  When I was in Washington, DC, I made sure that I spit my gum into a trash can let alone trying to break into  a federal building (*edit-I wasn't in Washington for the Trump Rally - I was at work that day supporting the welfare mothers of 8 kids without baby daddies).

The only problem with the examples that you brought up aren't with the examples but with the people who want to say people of 100's of years ago were racist and deserve no recognition for anything good that they might have done.  They want their names erased from history.  I'm not sure how anyone cannot see the problem with using today's standards to make an opinion of someone that was alive 100 to 500 years ago.  So it almost is like re-writing history.  But yes, I agree, evolving isn't a bad thing.

I really don't think that was the problem.  It's more that you have rappers-athletes-super stars using the same word and they are getting endorsed by big billion dollar companies and starring in commercials.  What's good for the goose is good for the gander.  I am not sure why anyone cannot see the problem with this.

Myself,  I could care less about the word because I don't use it.

It doesn't take much research to see how many songs Lil Wayne has that uses the terrible "N" word.

On the contrary, let's talk about how terrible of a person Larson is and saying that he deserved to lose his livelihood and that no billion dollar company should ever endorse him because they don't want to be tied to a person that is so evil-racist-and lower than the scum on this earth.

Where your wrong is claiming every loophole was put in place by any 1 person or party. Where your also wrong is believing a relatively small amount of people paying “a fair share” of taxes is going to do anything but hurt the middle class. They are not going to relieve you of your tax requirements, but the businesses that end up paying loads more will distribute that back to the people they are providing a service/product for. Do I believe Trump, Bezos or Bill Gates should get away without paying taxes, absolutely not. But when you attack businesses, the people will pay for it. It’s no different then when you have rental properties.....if some dipshit in a unit costs you money.....rent goes up for everyone, good tenants and bad. People are in business to make money, not give it away.

No, you are interpreting me all wrong regarding businesses. Im singling out the "corrupt" businesses and there are many out there that need to be held accountable. Wealthy, old crusty white men are the ones who make the laws and policies within the IRS. Who do these policies and laws benefit? The people that made them! Ever hear of a company called JP Morgan?  While you are not busy calling people liberals and bitching about government handouts, can you tell me why JP Morgan has broken the law and paid more than $35 Billion in fines since the year 2000 and nobody goes to prison.? Pass out a counterfeit $20 and you end up murdered by a cop.  Check this out for a minute ===>JPMorgan Chase | Violation Tracker (goodjobsfirst.org)

*edit - looks like I was typing my response the same time as DowntheBackStretch

I'm not sure what businesses DowntheBackStretch is referring to but I can only assume he is referring to the BILLION dollar companies like Amazon, UPS, GM, Ford, Carnival.  While some of these companies pay a fair wage for some of their positions.  Some of them offer ridiculous hours that are part-time for YEARS with close to no benefits and getting some serious tax breaks - BILLIONS of dollars.  Amazon and UPS beat the crap out of their employees.  If they could have robots doing everything they would but they can't so they time study the hell out of everything and make sure every second is accounted for.  Calling customer service for Amazon or UPS is a joke.  They pay some rep over seas pennies on the dollar to apologize 100x and they think that is great customer service with offering no real solution other than what you can readily see online.  I really don't care what race/color/background the person answering the phone is but I sure as hell prefer that they be on United States soil.  Why should a billion dollar company that asks for billions of dollars in tax breaks shift work overseas and get away with it.  This is insulting to every American that has 1/3 of their paycheck taken to support whatever the highest lobbyist feels is important in America.
