SUSSEX, NJ – FOX, a leading manufacturer of high performance shock absorbers, has signed on as the title sponsor of The Big Sportsman Show, the Sportsman support division of the Tuesday, June 26 The Big Show 10 Super DIRTcar Modified Series 100 at Malta, New York’s Albany-Saratoga Speedway.
“The Sportsman teams have really supported our Big Shows,” says event organizer Brett Hearn. “So we’re extremely happy to have FOX returning as the title sponsor of the Twin-20s Sportsman races.”
FOX Racing Shocks are products of Fox Factory Holding Corp. of California.
The field for The Big Sportsman Show will be divided in half for a pair of 20-lap feature races, each with its own payout including $1,000 to each winner. Should the winning cars be equipped with FOX shocks, and carry the appropriate FOX decal, a $250 contingency bonus will be awarded.
This is an open event for all Sportsman cars and will be run under the jurisdiction of the Albany-Saratoga Speedway Sportsman division rules with one notable exception: rev limiters will not be required. The aluminum wheels of the Sportsman cars from Albany-Saratoga Speedway may be used and all Sportsman cars may use either the Hoosier Sportsman tire or the Hoosier 300 or 400 Modified tire.
Qualifying for The Big Sportsman Show features will be done through timed hot laps. The fastest 12 drivers will then redraw for starting positions in their respective feature race.
