Modifieds and Crate 602 “Topless” Friday at Big Diamond Speedway 

MINERSVILLE, PA-Coming this Friday night June 10th to Big Diamond Speedway will be the annual “Topless” night. This yearly event is a hit with the fans as it give them a new perspective of what their heroes go through during a race as they twist and turn the wheels of their race cars. Last year, it was Duane Howard winning the Insigner Performance Modified race and young Logan Watt winning his first ever Big Diamond Crate Sportsman race.

After last Friday’s Tri-Track race won by Brett Kressley, young Louden Reimert remains in the lead for the 2022 track championship ahead of Jeff Strunk and Duane Howard. This week’s modified feature will be 30-laps with the winner getting a cool $4,000.

The USS Achey Crate Sportsman division had its first repeat winner of the season with Brandon Edgar taking his second win of the season. With Friday’s win, Edgar has now taken over the points lead in the Crate 602 Sportsman division over previous leader Matt Yoder and Danny Buccafusca. $1,000 will be awarded to the winner of this week’s 20-lap main event.

Rounding out the competition this Friday night will be the Red White and Blue Autos Roadrunner with their exciting brand of racing along with the Xcel 600 Modifieds.

Pit gates will open this Friday at 5:00 pm with Grandstand gates opening at 5:30 pm




Pit passes are $35 for Big Diamond Speedway members. Non-member pit passes are $40.

Warmups get underway at 7:15 PM with racing starting at 7:45 PM.

General admission on Friday night will be $20, Kids under 16 are free. Active military are admitted free with a valid ID.

Once again in 2022, Big Diamond Speedway has partnered with Dirt Track Digest TV to bring the live action to you if you cannot attend via Pay-Per-View.
