Brighton Five Grand Purse for Nostalgia Nationals

BRIGHTON, ON- When the Dirt Modified Nostalgia Tour rolls into Brighton Speedway Park for its inaugural visit, it intends to make an impact on the fans in the stands and give the racers in the vintage/nostalgia world a big event with some money on the line to shoot for, for the first time in…well, ever.
“This has really never been done before with these types of cars” explains Director Jeff Ciglich, “Throughout the history of this type of racing, everybody always received the same amount of either money or most of the time free pit admission for the driver and some of the crew members. With the help of Greenshield Pest Control and Profota’s Farm Equipment this will be quite a bit different.”
The posted purse will have $750 going to the winner but that will no doubt increase with the generous $2000 added from Profota’s.
The race should see most of the top teams in Ontario involved for this one as well as teams from NY State.
“We are still looking to add to it, we would like to make it a cool $1000 if possible” adds Ciglich
