BROCKVILLE, ONT – 2018’s edge of your seat regular season has come to a close, with Danny O’Brien, Ryan Scott, Xavier Perrin, Tyler Bushey and Domonic Merkley taking the Brockville Ontario Speedway track championships in the 358 Modified, Sportsman-Modified, Rookie Sportsman, Street Stock and Mini Stock divisions. After a month of downtown, The BOS is ready to roar back to life October 12th and 13th for this year’s edition of the Loud & Dirty DIRTcar Northeast Fall Nationals.
The Friday night opening round of the weekend includes the cars and stars of the DIRTcar Big Block Modified Series, for a 100 lap showdown. 50 laps and the Ogilvie’s Auto & Fleet Sportsman-Modified championship crowning; plus the Dirt Pro Stock Series 50 lapper and 30 laps for the Outlaw Vintage teams. Green flag at 6:00.
Saturday brings the DIRTcar 358 Mods to the forefront for the Bullringer 110 – presented by RTD Trailers. An Ogilvie’s Auto & Fleet championship crowning event, for a $10,000 payday. An Open 360 Sprint Car ‘A’ main, plus 30 lap invitationals for the Street Stock and Mini Stock classes, with a 5:00 start. Track owner and promoter Paul Kirkland says the Loud & Dirty Northeast Nationals fun continues after the checkered flag waves.
“We’ll have our annual After Party on Saturday night – this year with Healey and Orr – once the racing ends,” Kirkland said. “It’s our way to put the wraps on a great weekend and to thank the fans for supporting the track throughout the 2018 season.”
Track officials have also announced that Engine Research has stepped-up to the plate to present a $400 to win last chance qualifier for the 358 Mods. The winner has a choice of taking the cash payout, or buying their way into the $10,000 Bullringer 110.
Drawing crowds and competitors from both sides of the border, this is the show dirt track racing fans have been looking forward to all year. Why wait to hear about it from your friends? Experience all the action for yourself. Make your plans to be there. The Loud & Dirty DIRTcar Northeast Fall Nationals: A Craig Revelle Tribute – presented by St. Lawrence Radiology and Rez X Racing; sponsored by 103.7 BOB-FM and the Brockville Recorder & Times – takes the green flag Friday, October 12th and Saturday, October 13th at Brockville Ontario Speedway.
